As the founder of Aruta Consult (2013–2015), I led impactful environmental consulting projects that bridged policy, research, and stakeholder engagement to promote sustainable development. Key achievements include preparing the Social and Biodiversity Impact Assessment report for the Kibale natural high forest rehabilitation project in collaboration with Face the Future, Netherlands. This involved coordinating stakeholder workshops and training facilitators to support the project’s certification under VCS ARR and CCB standards.
Additionally, I provided technical leadership for ecosystem-based adaptation projects with UNEP, developing documentation to secure Green Climate Fund (GCF) resources. In Zambia, I coordinated research and policy dialogues for the UN-REDD Programme, emphasizing the economic significance of forest ecosystems and their role in sustainable management. Collaborating with AfDB, OECD, and IIED, I explored green growth opportunities by analyzing public finance trends, economic diversification, and policy frameworks, shaping a roadmap for sustainable development in Zambia.
